The PSA discs are used in conjunction with a PSA or 3M Stikit backup pad (sold separately) that can be attached to a random orbital sander.

The 3M Trizact PSA Film Disc 268XA is available in a range of grades, from A5 to A35, allowing operators to choose the right grade for their specific application. The lower the A-grade, the finer the grade of the disc. For a fine finish, operators can select a smaller grade like A5, while a coarser finish can be achieved with a larger grade like A35. To make grade selection easier, the discs are color-coded, reducing the risk of mistakenly using the wrong grade in a sanding sequence.
