The C-weight paper backing used in these discs is specifically chosen to meet the requirements of sanding applications where edge retention is not the primary concern. For optimal results, we recommend using these discs in conjunction with our top-of-the-line 3M Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

For workspaces where adhesive-backed discs are prone to contamination by dust or dirt, we offer a comprehensive line of hook-and-loop style 3M Hookit discs. These discs are particularly useful in applications where a 3M Stikit disc may be too aggressive, as Hookit discs tend to deliver finer finishes compared to adhesive-backed discs. The convenience of Hookit sanding discs lies in their ability to easily attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately), allowing for clean and effortless removal. Moreover, these discs can be reused multiple times throughout the lifespan of the abrasive, providing excellent value for money.
