Product Description: 3M Stikit Coated Abrasive Discs

These high-quality coated abrasive discs are designed for a wide range of applications, with a primary focus on stock removal. They are highly effective on various substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The discs feature a C-weight paper backing, which is particularly suitable for sanding tasks that do not require high edge retention. For optimal performance, we recommend using these discs with 3M Elite Random Orbital Sanders.

The 3M Stikit system revolutionizes the disc application process by eliminating the need for adhesive application. Our discs come pre-coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, making it incredibly easy to attach them to a disc pad. Simply press the disc onto the pad, just like applying a sticker. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures a secure bond, while still allowing for easy removal. When it's time to change the disc, simply peel it off the disc pad, leaving a clean surface for the next disc.

Please note that a Stikit disc should be used with a Stikit backup pad, which is sold separately. The backup pad can be attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander, providing a reliable and efficient sanding solution.
