What sets this wheel apart is the incorporation of 3M precision-shaped grain, a proprietary mineral that is woven throughout the abrasive. This mineral is engineered to be hard and strong, allowing for sharp cutting action. To counteract this cutting action, soft and buoyant nylon fibers are interwoven with the mineral. These fibers respond to surface irregularities and contours, ensuring consistent and predictable results. The gaps between the fibers allow debris to escape, minimizing loading. The combination of the open web structure and precision-shaped grain enables the wheel to aggressively tackle the substrate without compromising performance.
