It is resistant to loading and has a responsive open web. What sets this wheel apart is the use of 3M precision-shaped grain, a proprietary mineral that is woven throughout the abrasive. This mineral is engineered for hardness and strength, allowing it to cut sharply. To counteract this sharpness, soft and buoyant nylon fibers are interwoven with the mineral. These fibers respond to surface irregularities and contours, ensuring consistent results. The gaps between the fibers allow debris to escape, minimizing loading. The combination of the open web and precision-shaped grain enables the wheel to aggressively tackle the substrate without compromising predictability.
In addition, the Scotch-Brite Roloc Deburr and Finish PRO Unitized Wheel features a Roloc attachment. This allows operators to quickly and easily attach the wheel to a Roloc backup pad (sold separately), which can then be connected to a power tool.
