The Benefits of 3M Ceramic Precision-Shaped Grain and Scotch Brite™Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Deburr and Finish PRO Unitized Wheel is an abrasive product that offers load resistance and responsive open web, which are the benefits that operators have come to expect from Scotch-Brite™ abrasives. What sets this wheel apart from other Scotch Brite™ abrasives is the 3M precision-shaped grain. This proprietary mineral is interwoven throughout the abrasive and engineered for hardness and strength. The sharp-cutting mineral is counteracted by soft, buoyant nylon fibers that respond to surface irregularities and contours. Gaps between fibers allow debris to escape and help minimize loading. Together, the web and mineral combine to aggressively tackle the substrate without sacrificing predictable results.
This wheel also comes with the added benefit of a Roloc™ attachment. Operators can quickly and easily attach the wheel to a Roloc™ backup pad (sold separately) that connects to the power tool. This attachment system helps enhance productivity by minimizing the time it takes to set up wheel and tool connections.
Versatile Performance from Factory to FieldUnitized wheels differ from convolute wheels because they feature a layered construction as opposed to being wound around a core.
