The 3M Tape 5419 employs a proprietary technology that ensures extremely low electrostatic discharge during unwinding and removal from the Printed Wiring Board (PWB). It eliminates the typical drawbacks of conventional "anti-static" or "static-free" tapes, such as variable adhesion and opaqueness.
Halogen Free Definition:The term "Halogen Free" refers to the definition set by the International Electrochemical Commission (IEC) 61249-2-21. According to this definition, a product can be classified as "Halogen Free" if it meets the following limits: maximum chlorine content of 900 ppm, maximum bromine content of 900 ppm, and maximum total halogens content of 1500 ppm.
