Shear strength is the measure of pull force directed across the bonded surface, forcing the two surfaces to slide over each other. The adhesive has a consistently strong bond across a range of temperatures, from 180°F (82°C) long term to 250°F (121°C) short term and in 450ºF (232ºC) if dwell times are ten seconds or less.
