Our 3M Double Coated Tape 9737 Clear is a 3.5 mil double-sided tape mounted on a 55 lb. densified kraft paper liner. It features a thin polyester carrier with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that provides a balance of high initial adhesion and good holding power. This tape offers excellent temperature performance in various applications. It can withstand temperatures up to 300°F/149°C in the short term, and up to 260°F/127°C for days or weeks. Please note that actual performance may vary depending on machine and web tensions, line speeds, nature of paper surface, and application pressure. It adheres well to kraft and coated papers, making it ideal for high performance splicing on paper, films, and other continuous web processes.
