Yes! The sealant can withstand temperatures from -40°F to +194°F (-40°C to +90°C) once fully cured.
Do I need any special equipment when applying it?

It depends on how you want to apply it and where; however for general use you do not need any complicated tool, just make sure your surface is clean prior application.

3M™ Polyurethane Sealant 540 is a single-component, moisture-curing, polyurethane sealant used to bond a wide variety of materials, including plastics, fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), sheet molding compound (SMC), aluminum, steel, coated metal and wood. It exhibits high tensile strength, good UV resistance, low Shore A hardness and low modulus to maintain its functionality in a wide range of extreme service environments. Available in cartridge, sausage pack, pail and drum volumes to meet your application needs.

This will perform in temperatures ranging from -40°F/-40°C to 194°F/90°C. Once skin forms (60-90 minutes), the sealant can be painted to improve the final finish.
