    The Duo-Pak cartridge simultaneously meters, mixes and dispenses the two component structural plastic adhesive. You can easily apply it via the nozzle in single-component form.

  3. Can I use this adhesive in any temperature conditions?

    This product offers excellent low-temperature impact resistance yet maintains high-strength at temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit /121 degrees Celsius.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Plastic Adhesive DP8005 is a reliable adhesive that creates a strong bond on low surface energy plastics. It is specially formulated to bond metals, ceramics, wood, and most other plastics without the need for special surface treatments such as chemical etching, plasma, flame, or corona treatment or priming. Simply wipe the surfaces with isopropanol to remove mold release agents, dust, dirt, etc. This adhesive is perfect for joining plastics to metals, bonding low surface energy plastics without priming, impact resistance composite bonding, and manufacturing or repairing various sporting goods equipment.

The medium viscosity of 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Plastic Adhesive DP8005 allows for controlled dispensing and spreads to sufficiently wet out the surface. The mix ratio is 10:1 and provides a 3-minute work life. The adhesive reaches handling strength in approximately 3 hours and is fully cured in 24 hours (at 72°; F/22°; C).

Acrylic adhesives are two-part adhesives that provide excellent bond strength and durability. Often referred to as epoxy adhesives or epoxy glue, acrylics actually belong to a separate chemical family with their own unique characteristics. This very unique adhesive bonds LSE plastics without priming or other surface treatments.
