    Yes! This foam glazing tape can be used on a variety of window types including wood, vinyl, and aluminum. In addition to that, it adheres well to painted or unpainted surfaces.

  3. How long will the adhesive last on this double-sided foam glazing tape?

    The adhesive bonding strength of this product tends to improve over time. And if properly applied and stored in its original packaging at room temperature (60°F – 80°F), it can withstand weathering for extended periods without losing adhesion or becoming brittle.

Effective Bonding for Door and Window Glazing

3M™ Venture Tape™ Double Sided PE Foam Glazing Tape is a high-performance tape that is perfect for bonding door and window glazing. It is made up of a differentiated polyethylene foam that is coated with an aggressive acrylic rubber-based adhesive on one side and an acrylic adhesive on the other side. This tape is fully compliant with AAMA specification 810.1 for certified expanded cellular glazing tapes. It has excellent adhesion to PVC and other low surface energy sash and frame materials, as well as glass. The conformable foam core and high tack adhesive system make it easy to apply. This foam glazing tape is a great solution for many demanding applications.
