How to Apply Your Adhesive

Applying 3M™ Neoprene Contact Adhesive 5 is a straightforward process, whether it is being sprayed, brushed, or rolled on. Start by carefully applying the adhesive to your surface until you have formed a uniform coat. Using an overlapping pattern, one coat should be sufficient for most surfaces. However, some substrates, including porous materials, may require an additional coat. To apply additional adhesive, wait until the existing adhesive becomes dry to the touch, and then proceed with the application of the additional coat.
