3M™ Hook Fastener SJ3530 is a rubber-based hook fastener that outperforms other fasteners. It comes with a 3 mil (0.08mm) polyethylene film liner and is an excellent alternative to zippers, screws, snaps, hooks, and more. The fastener has flexible J-shaped hooks, with about 300 hooks per square inch (46 hooks/square cm.), protruding from a woven backing. It is commonly paired with 3M™ Loop Fastener SJ3531 and can also engage with other 3M™ Loop Fasteners. Both the hook and the corresponding loop are preshrunk to ensure stability and flatness.

The backing of 3M™ Hook Fastener SJ3530 is coated with a high tack rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. This adhesive bonds quickly to your substrate when pressure is applied. It features quick stick, short dwell time, and very good shear strength. It is designed for indoor applications and can be applied to many substrates, including plastics like polyethylene and polypropylene.

The fasteners consist of hooks and loops that engage to form a quick fastening attachment. To disengage the attachment, simply pull the strips apart by hand.
