Applying Your Adhesive

Applying 3M adhesive is a straightforward process, whether it is being sprayed, brushed, or rolled on. Start by carefully applying the adhesive to the surface, ensuring that it forms a uniform coat. Using an overlapping pattern, one coat should be sufficient for most surfaces. Effective adhesive coverage is achieved when 80% or more of the surface is covered. Some substrates, particularly porous materials, may require an additional coat. To apply an additional coat, simply wait until the existing adhesive becomes dry to the touch, and then proceed with the application of the additional coat.
