Designed specifically for grinding materials to their final dimensions, the 3M Trizact Diamond Cloth Belts 663FC are highly capable of tackling even the most challenging materials. These materials include ceramics, carbides, chilled iron, and composites. Additionally, these belts are also effective in stripping old thermal spray coating during the refurbishment process. What sets these belts apart is their ability to cut up to 70% faster than bonded wheels, all while maintaining a smooth and chatter-free operation. Even less-experienced operators can achieve consistent and effective stock removal throughout the entire lifespan of the belt.

The 3M Trizact Diamond Cloth Belts 663FC are equipped with a waterproof YF-weight cloth backing, making them suitable for high-pressure tough applications, whether run wet or dry. The abrasive side of the belt features three-dimensional structures that are derived from proprietary 3M technology. Unlike conventional abrasives that are constructed from randomly-spaced and irregular-shaped minerals, the Trizact abrasives feature precisely-shaped three-dimensional structures. These structures contribute to more consistent performance and eliminate any belt-to-belt variation, ensuring reliable and efficient grinding results.
