3M Scotch-Weld Acrylic Adhesive DP8910NS is a black, non-sag, two-part structural acrylic adhesive. It is highly effective at bonding various types of nylon materials and metal surfaces, and it does not require much surface preparation prior to application. It has a 10-minute work life with 16 minutes to handling strength.

Minimal surface preparation for easier nylon bonding

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Nylon Bonder Structural Adhesive DP8910NS is a high-performance adhesive that offers a cost-effective and time-saving solution for bonding nylon (polyamides) without the need for intensive surface preparation methods like plasma or flame treatment. This adhesive cures rapidly, enhancing assembly speed and productivity. It maintains structural strength at temperatures up to 185°F (85°C) and resists humidity, making it ideal for high temperature and high humidity applications where nylon is commonly used. It also provides excellent bonding to aluminum and stainless steel, offering a wide range of design options. The adhesive is black in color, non-sag, and consists of two parts. It contains 250 micron (0.010 inch) spacer beads. With a 10-minute work life and 16 minutes to handling strength, it ensures efficient and reliable bonding.
