These products can be easily cut to size and used by hand, providing precise control. They can also be paired with a hand pad holder for uniform finishing or attached to an inline or oscillating sander to cover larger areas.

Abrasives with Grit

Scotch-Brite Clean and Finish products are manufactured with a variety of abrasive minerals, including aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, and talc. Aluminum oxide is a hard and blocky mineral that offers a high cut-rate and long life. Silicon carbide, on the other hand, is a synthetic mineral known for its sharpness and is commonly used for low-pressure applications such as paint prep and achieving a finer finish.
