The Scotch-Brite Clean and Strip Unitized Block is specifically designed for applications such as coating removal. Its durable unitized construction ensures that it remains firm and does not yield or deflect to surface irregularities, allowing for a consistent and aggressive cut. The silicon carbide abrasive used in this product breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, resulting in a brighter finish. It is highly effective as an abrasive paint remover and can also remove scale, rust, surface contaminants, coatings, weld discoloration, and splatter.

Resists Loading

The open web design of this product helps prevent loading, which is a common issue in high-production environments and during soft coating removal. The gaps between the nylon fibers allow debris to escape, minimizing loading and premature clogging. This prolongs the service life of the abrasive. As the fibers break down, fresh and sharp mineral is revealed, ensuring a consistent cut from part to part.
