The disc is also resin bonded, making it resistant to heat. This versatile disc is perfect for tough sanding jobs on aluminum, fiberglass, gelcoat, hardwood, metal, softwood, and solid surfaces.

Our 3M Precision-Shaped Grain is a unique ceramic mineral that continuously fractures, creating fresh cutting edges on the workpiece's surface. This results in an exceptionally fast and sustained cut. Designed to withstand high pressure production environments, our Precision-Shaped Grain is perfect for sanding even the toughest materials. It is particularly effective for stainless steel and whitewood sanding. Our cloth-backed discs are renowned for their durability and flexibility, making them an excellent choice for working with metal or for heavy wood stock removal. The 3M Stikit discs come with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside, allowing for easy attachment to your 3M Stikit disc pad. It's as simple as pressing on a sticker. The adhesive is also pressure sensitive, making it effortless to peel off the disc from the disc pad, leaving a clean surface for the next disc. To ensure the adhesive remains clean and sticky until applied, a convenient liner is included. This makes the entire process of using our Stikit discs quick and hassle-free.
