    There are five packs of refill kits in a case, with each pack containing five individual refill kits.

  3. Can this kit be used with other types of spray guns besides the 3M ones?

    This kit has been specifically developed to work with 3M’s gravity-fed spray guns. While it may work on different brands/models, we recommend confirming compatibility prior to use.

  4. What kind of surface finish can I expect from these atomizing heads?

    The atomizing head design can provide a range of finishes depending on your specific application technique, viscosity or product being sprayed out and overall system setup such as air pressure etc.. For best results please refer to our Technical Data Sheet for proper use instructions

The 3M™ Performance Spray Gun System is a premium spray gun that offers pattern control, atomization, and transfer efficiency. What sets it apart is the technology inside the quick-change replaceable nozzles. Unlike traditional spray guns, paint and coatings never pass through the body of the spray gun. Instead, they only pass through the atomizing head. This means that every time you swap the nozzle, it's like getting a brand-new spray gun. This helps to drive more consistent spray performance across each job, every day.

3M™ Performance Gravity HVLP Atomizing Heads

The 3M™ Performance Gravity HVLP Atomizing Heads are available in a range of sizes, including 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, and 2.0. They are designed for spraying a wide range of industrial and automotive coatings, including high-viscosity coatings, sprayable fillers, high-build primers, primer surfacers, sealers, single-stage top coats, solvent-based paints, waterborne paints, and clearcoats.

Replaceable Nozzles

The replaceable nozzles are used exclusively with the gravity-fed 3M™ PPS™ Series 2.0 Spray Cup System. This system helps to reduce material waste, mess, and contamination compared to traditional metal paint cups. With this system, you can forget about tearing down spray guns and soaking them in solvent. Our complete, integrated spray system is your path to smarter cleanup.

The atomizing heads attach to the 3M™ Performance Spray Gun needle and are tightly secured to the spray gun with a specially-designed locking collar. No additional tools are required for changeouts. Simply remove the nozzle from the spray gun, and either appropriately clean the fluid tip or replace it to keep your spray gun performing like new.
