Unlike wire brushes, this disc offers a larger surface area for efficient coating removal. Additionally, it is a safer option as it eliminates the risk of loose wires. The hook and loop backing ensure a secure hold during use, making it a reliable choice for various finishing processes.

This disc utilizes silicon carbide abrasive, a synthetic mineral known for its sharpness and effectiveness in low-pressure applications like paint prep. While it may break down faster than aluminum oxide, it delivers a superior finish.

Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products that incorporate abrasives into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. This combination creates an abrasive system that consistently delivers excellent results.
