Rapid Stock Removal with Ceramic Abrasive Grain

The Standard Abrasives Quick Change Ceramic Pro 2-Ply Disc is designed with ceramic grain to enhance cut-rate and efficiency compared to other standard ceramic discs. Ceramic abrasives are known for their high levels of hardness and strength, allowing them to cut quickly and withstand intense heat and stress. The Ceramic Pro grain takes it a step further, delivering even faster results for heavy-duty operations while requiring less pressure than standard ceramic discs and producing a consistent finish.

This Ceramic Pro disc is highly versatile and can be used for a variety of operations. It excels in the removal of burrs, weld spatter, die cast flash, and parting lines. It is also effective for blending on all metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. Additionally, it can remove corrosion, paint coatings, gaskets, adhesives, scale, and rust. The disc is also suitable for cosmetic finishing, weld polishing, and conditioning of grind lines.

Durable Backing

The 2-ply disc features a resin-reinforced Y-weight cloth backing that can withstand the demands of grinding and deburring. It offers a balance between flexibility and durability, making it ideal for flat surfaces.

Quick Change Convenience

The Quick Change discs provide the convenience of tool-free swap outs, ensuring secure attachment even at high speeds. This saves operators time when switching discs between different grades or applications. Simply choose the disc that is compatible with your TR or TS holder pad (sold separately). TR discs have a nylon threaded hub that easily mounts to TR or 3M Roloc type holder pads with a simple twist of the wrist. The TS system, on the other hand, features a metal hub that attaches to its holder pad with a simple twist.
