Product Description: 3M Formaldehyde Monitor 3721+

Knowing the specific contaminant and exposure levels is crucial in selecting the appropriate respirator and cartridge for your work environment. Additionally, this information is essential for estimating the lifespan of the chosen 3M Cartridges.

The 3M Formaldehyde Monitor 3721+ utilizes a diffusion method, rather than a pump, to collect an air sample. This method ensures an accuracy of +/-25% at a 95% confidence level for certain aldehydes commonly found as workplace contaminants. The monitor is equipped with fiberglass coated with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH), which facilitates the easy collection of aldehydes. It is commonly used in various industries such as healthcare, laboratories, and the chemical, pulp/paper, foundry, and textile industries.

Once all instructions are followed, the monitor should be sent to a 3M-contracted lab for analysis.

This monitor has a shelf life of 1 year from its production date.
