3M Adhesion Promoter 111 is a fast-acting, isopropyl alcohol based solution designed to promote better and faster adhesion of 3M VHB Tapes. This product works particularly well for adhering 3M VHB Tapes to high surface energy substrates like galvanized steel, bare metals, and painted surfaces.

The formula, which is based on isopropyl alcohol, dries quickly in just one minute, allowing for maximum working time and minimizing downtime. Unlike many other alcohol-based chemicals, it has a non-offensive odor.

Clean, Prime, and Adhere with Confidence

In addition to its adhesion properties, our 3M Adhesive Primer 111 also serves as a surface primer on certain surfaces. It not only cleans the surface but also promotes adhesion, all in a single step. As long as the surface is relatively clean and free of wax, grease, oil, and loose particles, this primer can save you time and effort.
