The 3M Secure Click Particulate Filter P100 D3091 features the innovative Secure Click connection style, allowing for a quick and simple connection of the filters. By aligning the connections on the facepiece and filter and pushing until you hear a click, wearers can have confidence that the filters are properly installed. Additionally, the Secure Click filters are designed with dual-flow technology, making breathing easier.

These particulate filters are made with 3M's proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM), which consists of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation. This unique design enhances the capture of airborne particles while still allowing for greater passage of air through the media. The filters are both flame and water resistant, ensuring durability and reliability.

The 3M Secure Click Particulate Filter P100 D3091 is suitable for a variety of applications, including grinding, sanding, and welding. It is commonly used for filtering solids such as those found in minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances. The filter is also effective in capturing liquid or oil-based particles from sprays that do not emit harmful vapors, as well as metal fumes produced during welding, brazing, cutting, and other metal heating operations.

In addition to its versatility, the D3091 particulate filter can help reduce exposure to radioactive particulate materials like uranium and plutonium. It is also effective for filtering asbestos. However, it is important to note that the D3091 is not suitable for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or environments that contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases.

To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the 3M Secure Click Particulate Filters P100 D3091 if they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through. If used in environments containing only oil aerosols, the filters should be replaced after 40 hours of use or 30 days, whichever comes first.
