Specifically designed for the 3M PPS Series 2.0, the next generation of our highest performing disposable spray cup system, the 3M PPS Series 2.0 Sealing Plugs offer added performance during temporary sealing and protection of paint and other coatings. These plugs securely fit into all sizes of PPS Series 2.0 Lids. The wide and flat outward facing end forms a stable base, allowing you to turn the cup and lid assembly upside down and place it on the Sealing Plug for secure temporary sealing and protection. This method also helps preserve the 120 or 200 micron filters by keeping them submerged in fluid, reducing the need for lid replacements.

The 3M PPS Series 2.0 Spray Cup System is the latest and best-performing disposable spray cup system. It has been redesigned from the connection to the cup, offering six improvements that provide a complete disposable spray cup solution for mixing/measuring, filtering, spraying, and temporary sealing and protection of sprayable coatings.

Every PPS Series 2.0 lid features a quarter-turn lid locking system, reducing paint build-up and potential contamination. Additionally, each lid and liner kit includes a new hard cup with universal mixing ratios built into the cup, eliminating the need for separate inserts and ensuring the most accurate mix possible.

The 3M PPS Series 2.0 makes it even easier to mix directly in the cup. The cups have a max fill notation for precise measurements, and a clear access window allows you to see how much material is left while spraying. The window also facilitates easier and cleaner lid removal by allowing you to hold the liner. This is particularly useful during refills or tinting.

The 3M PPS Series 2.0 Lids feature a domed geometry that allows up to 3 oz (90mL) of material to be held below the filter during on-demand spraying. This reduces sputter and other inconsistencies in spray performance. The lids also have a wider spout for improved fluid flow. With a built-in full-diameter filter, the lids deliver the highest quality filtration without the need for assembly.

The new adapter design of the 3M PPS Series 2.0 provides a four-point connection and a wider 360 platform, ensuring a stable and reliable lid-to-spray-gun connection. The larger sealing plugs not only seal but also serve as a base for temporary sealing and protection. This helps keep the built-in filter wet and reduces the need for replacement lids.

Each lid of the 3M PPS Series 2.0 features a built-in full-diameter filter, available in 200 micron or 125 micron mesh. It is important to consult the paint or coatings manufacturer for the recommended filter mesh size.

The PPS 2.0 Spray Cup System is available in five sizes: 3 oz (90mL), 6.8 oz (200mL), 13.5 oz (400mL), 22 oz (650mL), and 28 oz (850mL). Using the right size cup for each repair not only reduces the cost per lid and liner but also decreases the likelihood of overmixing.

After spraying, the painter can use the sealing plug to seal and protect the paint or coating for later use. Alternatively, they can simply discard the lid and liner, leaving only the adapter and spray gun to clean. The disposable lid and liner should be discarded in accordance with local government requirements. Cleaning the spray gun and the PPS Adapter requires only a small amount of solvent. Thanks to the closed system design of the PPS Series 2.0, you can spray in any orientation to a full 360 degrees.
