Its adhesive is non-flammable, polychloroprene-free, and has zero VOCs (per EPA test method 24).

3M™ Fast Tack Water Based Adhesive 1000NF bonds quickly while achieving handling strength in approximately one minute or less. This adhesive is designed to increase productivity by allowing for one-surface application, which uses less product.
Adheres to Many Materials3M™ Fast Tack Water Based Adhesive 1000NF is formulated with 48% solids, providing up to three times more coverage than solvent-based adhesives. It adheres to a variety of materials, including flexible foam, latex foams, fabric, polyester fiberfill, canvas, wood, plywood, particleboard, and many plastic and metal surfaces. It is also certified to GREENGUARD® Product Emission Standard For Children and Schools for low-emitting interior building materials.

3M™ Fast Tack Water Based Adhesive 1000NF can be applied by spray, brush, or roller. To apply, carefully coat the surface with the adhesive in an overlapping pattern. One coat is usually sufficient for most surfaces, but some porous materials may require an additional coat. Wait until the first coat is dry to the touch before applying the second coat. Effective adhesive coverage is achieved when 80% or more of the surface is covered.
