Fiberglass Cloth for Professional-Quality Repairs
Bondo® Fiberglass Cloth is designed to provide structural reinforcement for stronger repairs. It must be used with Bondo® Fiberglass Resin PN 401, 402, 404 (sold separately). This product is ideal for repairing holes, cracks, and gaps. When used with Bondo® Fiberglass Resin, the repairs become 100% waterproof, making it perfect for tubs, showers, sinks, pools, hot tubs, boat repairs, and more. Bondo® Fiberglass Cloth is slightly thinner than fiberglass mat, making it easier to work with and hide when finishing. It can also be used on surfaces such as wood, concrete, and metal to provide strong, durable, and waterproof repairs.

Reinforced Repair Areas
When used properly with Bondo® Fiberglass Resin, Bondo® Fiberglass Cloth reinforces repair areas and allows for repainting, ensuring that the repair blends seamlessly with the original surface. This cloth is easy to cut to size and shape, making it customizable for automobile repairs. To complete the repair, layers of fiberglass cloth and resin are added to fill the hole. Once the patched area has cured, it can be sanded smoothly to be level with the surrounding surface. A fiberglass repair completed with resin and cloth is fully compatible with being painted.

Benefits of Fiberglass Cloth
Fiberglass cloth is a woven fabric that provides reinforcement to repairs due to its high strength to weight ratio. It is used in situations where resin alone would not provide sufficient strength. Fiberglass cloth offers several advantages, including moisture resistance, non-flammability, and resistance to most chemicals.

Repairs Customized to Your Needs
This highly pliable fiberglass cloth can easily conform to curved surfaces on automobiles. Its flexibility allows for customized automotive bodywork repairs on fenders, doors, hoods, and other sections of the car body.

Use During the Fill Stage of the 3M™ Body Repair System
The 3M™ Body Repair System simplifies the automotive body repair process by dividing it into four stages:

Stage 1 - Prepare: This stage involves tasks such as pulling dents, removing paint and rust, and effectively masking the area.

Stage 2 - Fill: This stage includes patching holes with reinforced filler, as well as smoothing and shaping the filler before painting.

Stage 3 - Paint: This stage involves painting the repaired area and blending and smoothing primer and paint.

Stage 4 - Finish: The final stage focuses on achieving showroom-grade results by removing small defects, sealing, and polishing clear coats and other painted surfaces.

3M provides premium products such as abrasives, tapes, body fillers, and tools for each stage of the body repair process. This system is designed to help you work easily, efficiently, and successfully.
