3M Scotchcast Electrical Resin 10N is a 2 part, thixotropic, liquid resin. It is useful for electronic and electrical applications requiring the highest level of protection. It is useful for applications that include filling, patching, insulating and more.

  • 30 minute gel time at 60 °C (140 °F)
  • Useful for coating coils, transformers, motors, modules, electrical and electronic components
  • Temperature rated Class B (130˚C)

    Our Electrical Resin 10N is a two-part epoxy designed to fill and insulate the voids and irregular spaces in electrical equipment. It provides excellent adhesion, ensures high-quality bonding with windings, and helps protect from harsh environments.

  2. Is it safe to use this product on different surfaces?

    Yes! Most materials such as metals, resins reinforced with glass fiber mat or fabric, asbestos reinforced laminates are compatible with our resin. However not all substrates are compatible so it's always recommended to check compatibility before using them.

  3. How do I apply the resin properly?

    Application of our Electrical Resin depends on your specific needs but generally starts with mixing Part A & Part B at specific ratios mentioned in product documentation until thoroughly blended together.Apply quickly before hardening takes place. Additional applications can be poured whilst previous layer remains sticky providing no skin has formed over gel.Additionally you can refer to application instructions that come along with the package
