3M PPS Series 2.0 Sealing Plugs are designed specifically for the 3M PPS 2.0 Spray Cup System. Sealing plugs fit into PPS Series 2.0 Lids of all sizes, and feature a wide, flat design that creates a stable base for supporting lid and cup assemblies when turned upside down. This lets you keep the lid filters wet, preserving them during temporary sealing and protection of paint and coatings.

  1. What is the 3M™ PPS™ Series 2.0 Sealing Plug used for?

    The 3M™ PPS™ Series 2.0 Sealing Plug is designed to be used with the corresponding cup system as a way of keeping an air-tight seal on paints and coatings during storage.

  2. How many sealing plugs come in each pack and case?

    Each pack of the 3M™ PPS™ Series 2.0 Sealing Plug contains 96 plugs, while each case contains six packs (totaling up to 576 plugs).

  3. Is the product compatible with other cups and lids from different brands?

    While we recommend using this product with a matching cup/lid set within our own product line, it's great for customers to know that this series two plug will work well across all spray guns for consistent coverage performance

  4. Can these sealing plugs be reused or are they disposable?

    The sealing plug, along with all the components included in our PPS systems are made to encourage reuse so long as it remains working property over multiple uses although you should change out your mix ratio after making changes accordingly

Designed to work with all sizes of PPS™ 2.0 lids, from mini to large, plugs feature a wide, flat design to make a stable base when you turn cup upside down. Temporary sealing helps prevent paint from drying and clogging filter, giving it a longer life so you replace lid less often.

3M™ PPS™ 2.0 is an all-in-one solution for measuring, mixing, filtering and spraying paint materials for automotive, industrial, home, furniture, cabinetry and more.

Our latest and greatest PPS™ system features improvements like a quarter-turn locking collar with each lid, domed lid design for better spray performance, wider lid fluid spout and redesigned adapter for a more stable lid-to-gun connection. Each paint cup has convenient printed-on universal mix ratios for accurate mixing and a clear access window for easy visibility.

Unlike with conventional aluminum or other metal paint cup systems, with PPS™ you don’t have to mix paint in extra cups and filter it into the paint reservoir, so you waste less paint. And with a fresh lid and liner for each mix, there’s less risk of outside contamination.

By using this system, you can increase productivity in prep and cleanup time by as much as 50% and use up to 70% less cleaning solvent vs. conventional paint cup systems.
