3M PPS Lid & Liner Kits each contain 50 disposable lids with welded-in filters to strain paint material while spraying, along with 50 liners and 20 sealing plugs for use with the 3M Paint Preparation System. Kits are available in five sizes for a range of jobs large and small. PPS is a complete painting system that allows the painter to measure, mix, filter and spray paint materials.

    Each kit of the 3M™ PPS™ Lid & Liner Kit comes with a total of fifty (50) lids and liners.

  3. Is the micron filter crucial?

    Yes, it is. The lid has a built-in full diameter filter with a mesh measuring about two hundred microns which prevent debris from mixing into the paint mix.

3M™ PPS™ Mini Lids and Liners Kit contains 50 disposable lids, 50 disposable liners and 20 sealing plugs for use with the original PPS™ spray gun system.

The PPS™ spray gun system is an all-in-one solution for measuring, mixing, filtering and spraying paint materials. Unlike conventional aluminum or other metal paint cup systems, with PPS™ you don’t have to mix paint in extra cups and filter it into a paint reservoir, so you waste less paint.

Using the PPS™ system is easy. Simply place a liner in the reusable paint cup, mix the paint, snap on the lid, attach the locking collar and you’re ready to spray. With a fresh lid and liner for each mix, there’s less risk of outside contamination.

Using the PPS™ system can also increase productivity in prep and cleanup time by as much as 50% and use up to 70% less cleaning solvent over conventional paint cup systems.

Each lid strains paint material with a built-in 200-micron filter, commonly used for solvent-based paint materials. Specially designed PPS™ stainless steel metal adapters let you use the PPS™ system with virtually any spray gun.
