This double coated tape features a thin .5 mil black polyester film carrier coated on both sides with 3M Adhesive 200MP, excellent for graphics, nameplates and LED lens attachment. A 58-lb. PCK liner adds stability for efficient processing.

3M Double Coated Tape 9492MP is a 2.5 mil PET tape that is designed for tough applications. It features a .5 mil polyester film carrier, which provides excellent handling during processing tasks such as slitting, die-cutting, and laminating. The tape is coated on each side with 1 mil of 3M Adhesive 200MP, which is known as the industry standard for applications like nameplate and graphic attachment. This adhesive offers exceptional shear strength, as well as excellent temperature and chemical resistance, making it suitable for use in tough environments. To add stability for efficient processing, the tape also includes a 4 mil, 58-lb. polycoated kraft liner.
