3M EPS 200 Heat Shrink Tubing is a dual wall tubing that provides the advantage of integral, adhesive lined construction. This flame retardant tubing with a 2:1 shrink ratio, offers insulation for 600V rated applications. The flexible polyolefin construction with an internal layer of thermoplastic adhesive offers moisture seal protection in automotive and marine applications.

    This product comes in sticks that are 48 inches long (4 feet) with an inner diameter of 1 inch before shrinking. Once shrunken it has a final inner diameter of .500 inches or half an inch

    Yes, because the polyolefin material used to make these products offers high resistance to moisture ingress & ultra-violet exposure.This allows for outdoor use with minimal risk of wear-and-tear - In fact its rated UL flammability Class B!

  5. Q : Is there anything specific I should know about installing this tube on my wires ?

    A : The user must verify all installation methods per industry standards; however generally speaking standard heat guns provide consistent results when applying heat while evenly rotating around the exposed electrical section , Allow air to escape from under as you rotate until finished.Commentaries recommend using temperature measuring machinery if accuracy concerns.

3M™ Heat Shrink Tubing EPS 200 provides a skintight fit and strain relief protection of electronic components, truck wiring splices or wire bundling. This flame retardant tubing has a heat shrinkable outer wall that is irradiation cross linked for abrasion resistance. The tubing also maintains a high flow and has superior adhesion characteristics. When the tubing cools down, it forms a permanent, water resistant barrier. It withstands temperatures of 67 to 230 degrees F (55 to 110 degrees C).

This product is UL Listed, SAE AS23053/4, Class 2, CSA Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
