3M Venture Tape Double Coated PE Foam Glazing Tape VG716 is 1/16" thick closed cell, crosslinked polyethylene foam tape coated with rubber based adhesive on one side and acrylic based adhesive on the other (liner side) with a 4 mil blue poly easy release liner.

    The tape is designed to bond well to most common building materials including metal, glass, wood and vinyl.

  2. How thick is the tape?

    The tape measures 62 mils in thickness which makes it one of the thinnest tapes available for this application.

  3. How long does each roll last generally?

    Each roll is 150 feet long and with a case containing around 53 rolls so you will have enough material that can cover approximately an area of more than four miles or six kilometers depending upon the surface for which it's being used.

Effective Bonding for Door and Window Glazing

3M™ Venture Tape™ Double Sided PE Foam Glazing Tape is a high-performance tape that is perfect for bonding door and window glazing. The tape is made up of a differentiated polyethylene foam that is coated with an aggressive acrylic rubber-based adhesive on the exposed side and acrylic adhesive on the liner side. It is fully compliant with AAMA specification 810.1 for certified expanded cellular glazing tapes. The tape has excellent adhesion to PVC and other low surface energy sash and frame materials and glass. The conformable foam core and high tack adhesive system make it easy to apply. This high-performance foam glazing tape offers a great solution for many demanding applications.
