    The Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning Disc Pack contains five surface conditioning discs used for cleaning, finishing and deburring metal surfaces.

  2. Can I use these discs on aluminum or stainless steel?

    Yes! These conditioning discs are suitable for use on a variety of metals including aluminum and stainless steel.

  3. Will this disc pack work with my sander/grinder?

    As long as your tool has a compatible attachment method (such as a threaded screw or small button connection), you should be able to attach and use these Scotch-Brite™ discs.

  4. How do I know when it's time to replace the disc?

    . You will start noticing reduced effectiveness in terms of removing material, cutting capacity and overall performance. Alternatively, if there is visible wear damage or excessive buildup that cannot be removed through normal cleaning, then it's probably time to swap out the old disc for a fresh one.

Tackle Hard-to-Reach Areas

Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning Disc Pack 920S contains a variety of 2 inch and 3 inch diameter discs that can be used with a small right angle grinder. The small diameter of these discs make them a good match for smaller workpieces that have hard-to-reach areas. Some are made with silicon carbide mineral and others are made with aluminum oxide mineral. All discs are color coded by grade to help operators reduce the risk for error. Grades range from super fine (SFN) to coarse (CRS).

Scotch-Brite™ abrasives are unique due to their nonwoven technology. Abrasive mineral is interspersed on synthetic fibers using resin, creating an open web construction. This design allows excess material to escape, preventing the mineral from getting worn down by debris. It keeps the mineral cutting sharper longer, enhancing cut performance and increasing abrasive service life. The spring-like nature of the fibers works well on contours and responds to subtleties on the surface. Its responsive design effectively removes unwanted burrs, soils and contaminants without ruining the base material, so you get a consistent and uniform finish – part after part.
