One can of adhesive covers up to 70 square feet. This may vary based on environmental conditions and the thickness of your application.
Can this adhesive be used on other substrates besides foam?

While it is not recommended, some users have reported successful adhesion to materials such as wood, metal or plastic. We always recommend testing first before using it on any substrate that isn't foam-based.
Does the low VOC content in this adhesive mean I won't have to worry about ventilation when using it indoors?

While lower VOC content reduces emissions, we still recommend proper ventilation during use. It's always a good idea to avoid inhaling any chemicals from aerosol sprays and keep the room ventilated until fumes dissipate completely.

3M™ Foam Fast 74 CA Spray Adhesive - Low VOC <25% has an aggressive tack that offers a high initial grab with foam-tearing strength, yet allows sufficient open time to position materials properly. High-solids content supports its low soak-in property, allowing time to position parts for best fit. This attribute also provides higher coverage than competing spray adhesives and helps create soft, non-dimpling glue lines. The lace-spray pattern of non-yellowing adhesive, combined with fast tack, a strong bond and clean appearance, make it ideal for bonding foam and fabric onto a wide array of materials, including paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, wood and much more. This adhesive is CARB* and SCAQMD compliant, GREENGUARD® certified and helps contribute to LEED® credits.
