    The High Capacity 100-sheet case can soak up to 44 gallons of oil or other hydrocarbons.

  3. Can these pads be used on water-based liquids as well?

    No, the Petroleum Sorbents are formulated specifically for oil and petroleum-based products only. For water spills, we recommend our Universal Spill Kits.

  4. How does the static-resistant feature support safety measures?

    Any flammable fluids such as oils will create sparks when absorbed by conventional spill kits without this protection. This additional resistive element reduces the risk of ignition in hazardous workspaces that generate static charge.

Product Description: 3M™ Static Resistant Petroleum Sorbents

3M™ Static Resistant Petroleum Sorbents are specially treated to resist static charge build-up. They are highly effective in conditions that are likely to produce static arcing, such as low relative humidity (below 20%) or freezing temperatures. These sorbents are designed to sorb up to twice as much oil and flammable liquid by weight as standard melt-blown static resistant sorbents on both land and water. This results in less sorbent waste, lower cleanup costs, and less time spent cleaning up spills.

Each bale of 3M™ Static Resistant Petroleum Sorbents can sorb up to 37.5 gallons and contains 100 pads.
