3M Double Coated Tape 9495 stands up under tough conditions, yet provides stability and handles easily during processing. This double coated tape features a thin .5 mil black polyester film carrier coated on both sides with 3M Adhesive 200MP, excellent for graphics, nameplates and LED lens attachment. A 58-lb. PCK liner adds stability for efficient processing.

An Easy-to-Process Tape for Tough Applications

3M Double Coated Tape 9495 is a 5.7 mil black PET tape designed for tough applications. It features a .5 mil polyester film carrier that provides excellent handling during processing, such as slitting, die-cutting, and laminating. The face side of the tape is coated with 2.9 mils of 3M Adhesive 200MP, which is known as the industry standard for applications like nameplate and graphic attachment. This adhesive offers exceptional shear strength, as well as excellent temperature and chemical resistance, making it suitable for tough environments. The back side of the tape is coated with 2.3 mils of the same adhesive.

To add stability and enhance processing efficiency, the tape is backed with a 4 mil, 58-lb. polycoated kraft liner. This liner is especially useful for die-cutting processes.
