3M Double Coated Tape 92015 offers outstanding adhesion on metal and high surface energy plastics and performs well after exposure to humidity and hot/cold temperatures up to 400F/204C, or 300F/149C in Double Coated constructions. The 3M Adhesive 200MP delivers excellent shear strength to resist slippage and edge lifting and offers quick stick to a wide variety of substrates. This tape is a double coated version of 3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 468MP.

Offers Excellent Adhesion to Metals and HSE Plastics

3M Double Coated Tape 92015 is a versatile adhesive tape that features 2.7 mils of 3M Adhesive 200MP on each side of a clear 0.5 mil polyester film carrier. It also has a 58 lb. tan polycoated kraft liner. This tape offers high bond strength to a wide variety of dissimilar and difficult-to-bond substrates, including metals and polypropylene, HDPE, and LDPE. It can be used for various applications such as general purpose joining, mounting, and splicing.

Understanding Double Coated Tapes

In general, double coated tape consists of a paper, film, or tissue carrier that is coated on both sides with pressure-sensitive adhesive.
