3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Resin 8N has a low gel point rating to ensure curing at room temperature. The resin exhibits a semi-flexible and good adhesion property after curing, thanks to its high tensile strength. This makes it ideal for applications that require excellent thermal shock and mechanical shock resistance. Additionally, the high dielectric strength of the resin offers excellent electrical insulating properties.
The resin has a high flash point, which helps prevent any fire hazard in electrical components due to quick ignition. Furthermore, it exhibits hydrolytic stability, which minimizes quick chemical decomposition, thus providing long-lasting usage.
The product is MIL I 16923E and MIL I 16923G certified, and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
