3M Fire Barrier Sealant FD 150+ is a gun-grade, latex-based, elastomeric sealant that cures upon exposure to the atmosphere to form a monolithic flexible firestop seal. When properly installed, this sealant helps control the spread of fire, smoke and noxious gasses before, during and after exposure to a fire and exhibits excellent adhesion to a full range of construction substrates.

TESTED AND LISTED: For through-penetrations up to 3-hours in accordance with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC S115. Provides L-Rating (smoke seal)

3M™ Fire Barrier Sealant FD 150+ is designed to provide firestop capabilities for up to three hours in accordance with ASTM E 814 (UL1479) and CAN/ULC S115.
Where can I use it?

It can be used on concrete, metal pipes, cable trays, ducts, penetrations and insulated pipe applications.
How do I apply the sealant?

The sealant must be applied using a standard caulking gun to the edge of joint or penetration with no gaps present. For more information about how best to use this product see our datasheet on website.
. Can I paint over the sealant after application?

. Yes! Once you have applied and tooled the sealant you may paint over it as needed once cured.Sealants should not be left exposed where they are subjected to continuous ultraviolet light without being protected by an appropriate coating compatible with he sealant.
