The Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Sheet features a tough, tight and dense web that allows aggressive blending, cleaning and deburring of metals. The web is conformable, flexible and will adapt to unique contours and get into hard-to-reach locations. May be used manually or on an in-line sander for metalworking, paint prep or coating and corrosion removal.

This tan colored cut and polish sheet uses aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals due to its cut-rate and long life. This mineral is tough, durable, and self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use. Unlike traditional abrasives, such as garnet, aluminum oxide mineral does not wear down quickly. It is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing use. Aluminum oxide is suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
