  2. What size come in one bag of the product?

    This item comes with a 2-3/4 inch x 7-3/4 inch single unit per bag, and there are five bags included within each case set.

  3. Is this product compatible with all kinds of back up padding variations?

    Yes, our Scotch-Brite discs use cross-layered fibers that become matted during use when heavy duty scrubbing takes place. However, they work with most brands' products regardless of whether they are Stikit or PSA.

Conversion Face Method of Operation

The Scotch-Brite™ Hookit™ Conversion Face is a versatile tool that can be used with 3M™ Hookit™ Back Up Pads or as provided with 3M™ Orbital and Random Orbital Sanders. The conversion face has a high loft black brushed nylon loop backing that firmly attaches to the Hookit™ Back Up Pads. The hook side of the conversion face has small, white mushroom headed hooks that go through the web of the Scotch Brite™ 7447 Pro & 7448 Pro Discs and most other 3M™ Scotch Brite™ non-woven products. The Scotch-Brite™ Hookit™ Conversion Face comes in several sizes to accommodate varying sizes of Hookit™ Back Up Pads. To use coated abrasive products, simply remove the conversion face from the back up pad and attach an appropriate Hookit™ disc.

Scotch-Brite™ Pro Discs are unique surface conditioning products that feature mineral coated on non-woven nylon fibers. The fiber coating technology allows Scotch-Brite™ Pro abrasive products to cut faster and produce a consistent scratch, reducing the time and effort it takes to finish parts. The combination of mineral with the fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material is load resistant and keeps abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the nylon fibers. These discs are commonly used for tough cleaning, scuffing, and finishing jobs.
