The tough nylon web offers sustained performance and leaves a consistent finish on the workpiece, resulting in little to no rework. The very fine (VFN) grade abrasive contributes to a nice clean finish. This disc features aluminum oxide mineral, which cuts sharp and is friable, fragmenting under heat and pressure to reveal sharp cutting edges during use. Among the four Standard Abrasives™ Buff and Blend materials, HP material is moderately stiff, durable and aggressive, making it a good starting point for deburring applications. Its non-woven construction responds to contours and extrusions while minimizing gouging or marring of the part. If desired, discs may be ganged on a shaft to form a wheel.
