These discs feature a woven fabric (scrim) embedded in the nylon structure, providing added strength and durability. This unique design extends the lifespan of the disc, making it ideal for use on ferrous materials that require precise finishing. The material offers a perfect balance of durability, flexibility, and cut rate, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Mixed Materials

Standard Abrasives Surface Conditioning RC Discs are crafted from a tough and flexible nylon mesh that conforms to any contoured surface. The mesh is infused with aluminum oxide abrasive, making it a versatile choice for operators seeking all-purpose functionality and cost-effectiveness. The aluminum oxide mineral cuts quickly while effectively blending and deburring, making it suitable for use on ferrous metals and composites. These discs feature a premium grain with higher fracture strength, ensuring that the mineral fragments and renews more readily. They are available in various grades, ranging from Very Fine to Coarse.

Strong Backing for Better Performance

To achieve optimal results, it is highly recommended to use a Standard Abrasives brand holder pad in conjunction with the surface conditioning discs. Tests have demonstrated that when used with the Standard Abrasives holder pad, these discs exhibit superior durability and performance.
