The Ease of a Disc Roll, The Speed of Stikit™ Attachment

The 3M™ Stikit™ Green Disc Roll is a convenient and efficient solution for auto body sanding jobs. The roll is packaged as multiple adhesive-backed discs rolled into a tube, which tear off conveniently one at a time for speed and efficiency. The discs require no liners, which saves material costs. The ready-to-use Stikit™ discs feature a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backs, making it easy to press the disc onto the backup pad and get started. They remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. The roll can be used with 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Roll Dispenser (05450) or 3M™ Stikit™ Light Duty Dispensers (PN 05455 for 5" discs).

The Stikit™ Green Disc Roll is made with aluminum oxide mineral abrasive, providing a sharp cut that is more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. The disc is ideal for more aggressive auto body sanding jobs such as shaping plastic filler, removing paint around damaged areas, and scratch refinement of bare metal. The durable D-weight paper backing makes the disc even more effective.

Resists Dust and Debris

The open coat construction of the 3M™ Stikit™ Green Disc Roll means that the abrasive grains are placed with space between them to help evacuate sanding dust and other debris, avoiding clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The load-resistant coating on the abrasive grains also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding paints and other materials that would otherwise clog the disc and hinder sanding ability. This results in increased productivity and reduced material consumption.

The 5-hole or 6-hole pattern on the 3M™ Stikit™ Green Disc Rolls helps clear dust from the surface of the disc, making for longer disc life and a more consistent finish. This hole design doesn't even require alignment of holes with the disc pad, (3M suggests backup pad 05655 or 05656) making disc changes quick and simple.
