PRODUCT FAQ
-
What is 3M™ Filament-Reinforced Electrical Tape 1139 used for?
This tape is specifically designed for applications that require high tensile strength and extreme durability. It's commonly used for bundling, reinforcing, and splicing wires as well as holding electrical cords and cables securely in place.
-
Is this tape suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, absolutely! This tape is resistant to moisture, abrasion, corrosion, UV rays, chemicals and solvents making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
-
What makes this tape different from other types of electrical tapes available in the market?
The main difference lies in its unique construction which features a combination of polyester film backing with fiberglass filaments running along the length of the roll. These filaments give it added strength and rigidity over traditional PVC electrical tapes.
-
How long will a single roll last me on average?
That depends entirely on how much you'll be using it. However, we can confirm that each full log roll contains approximately 60 yards or over 180 feet worth of tape so you're definitely getting your money's worth!
