This particular disc, made from maroon GP material, offers a moderately aggressive performance. It is ideal for various tasks such as removing light oxidation, blending minor surface imperfections, preparing surfaces for coatings, eliminating small burrs, and performing basic equipment cleanup. This minimizes swarf and debris accumulation, extending the service life of the abrasive and keeping the minerals sharp for longer. Unlike steel wool, the nylon fibers of these products do not splinter during grinding, providing a safer alternative.
