Standard Abrasives™ Holder Pad is a hard-face pad that is flat and even without texture. The smooth face of the holder pad prevents it from causing bumps or extrusions on the abrasive disc.

Holder pads come in different densities that signal varying levels of flexibility. Soft-density holder pads are more pliable and responsive, making them a good fit for finer-grade abrasives performing finishing and contouring. This medium-grade pad is suitable for discs that do general-purpose work. Firm-density holder pads are more rigid to support coarser abrasives that perform heavy stock removal. Discs and holder pads work together to get the job done.
